We own and manage a diverse portfolio of residential properties, including a 200-unit apartment complex located in Tallahassee, FL. We are committed to maintaining high standards of quality and service, and we are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in the maintenance operations of a 200-unit apartment complex, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Work with a team of maintenance technicians, accepting guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Coordinate maintenance requests from residents and property management staff with maintenance team.
- Organize, strategize, and conduct unit turn overs
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including but not limited to trashing out units, touch up paint, basic appliance repairs, etc.
- Maintain a clean storage room and record inventory.
- Make supply runs (reliable transportation is mandatory)
Requirements:
- Previous experience in property maintenance, or in the maintenance field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with residents, staff, and contractors.
- Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems is preferred.
- Ability to work miscellaneous power tools like chain saws, table saws, pressure washer, nail gun, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
