We are currently seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and reliable individual to serve as a live-in caretaker for a quadriplegic person. Location: Weems Plantation, Tallahassee, FL
Type of Position: Full-time, Live-In
Start Date: As soon as possible
Responsibilities:
Providing assistance with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Assisting with transfers and mobility around the home using assistive devices.
Performing household duties including cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
Managing medication schedules and ensuring timely administration.
Facilitating transportation to appointments and social activities.
Offering companionship and emotional support.
Collaborating with healthcare professionals to implement care plans.
Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs.
Requirements:
Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
Certification in first aid and CPR.
Ability to roll or adjust patient.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A compassionate and patient demeanor.
A commitment to respecting the dignity and privacy of the individual.
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
