Home Health Administrator

Must have 1 year of experience, Home Health· Must be a direct employee. Cannot be a contracted position. Must be on payroll with taxes being taken out.

· Must be a licensed physician, physician assistant or RN licensed to practice in FL or an individual having at least one year of supervisory oradministrativeexperience in home health care, a hospital, ambulatory surgical center, nursing home or assisted living facility.

· Office Manager he/she will or could be responsible for daily staffing, onboarding of new staff including orientation, maintaining personnel files, entering information and maintaining the Background Screening Clearinghouse Roster, ensuring that documentation is properly submitted for services provided, documents and investigates complaints and incidents, periodically audit patient charts for completion, ensure annual submission of the Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan, etc.

· Must read the state regulations, be familiar with agency policies, agree to meet with consultant to prep for state inspection and onsite for initial (and subsequent) state inspections

· State regulation: “Must be available to the public for any eight consecutive hours between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday of each week, excluding legal and religious holidays. Available to the public means being readily available on the premises or by telecommunications. When the administrator is not on the premises during designated business hours, a staff person must be available to answer the phone and the door and must be able to contact the administrator and the director of nursing by telecommunications.

· Past private duty home care experience highly desirable but not required.

· Administrator-self-directed, self-starter, organized, disciplined, and able to make commitment to the agency.
