JOB DUTIES: Research market conditions, data and trends for Florida’s agriculture industry. Include market data/trends with marketing campaign highlights to provide content for features and advertorials. Collaborate with graphics team to create advertorials and outreach materials for the Florida Agricultural Promotion Campaign membership program. Prepare responses to industry and media inquiries based on marketing data and trends. Conduct outreach to industry publication representatives to share Florida’s agriculture market conditions. Include marketing trends in presentations and webinars that highlight the division’s marketing campaigns and promote the membership program. Gather content from other bureaus/sections for presentations. Define and streamline process to collect data and information. Coordinate member services communications for the Florida Agricultural Promotional Campaign (FAPC) or “Fresh From Florida” Industry Membership Program. Primary contact for gathering market conditions/trends/data and marketing highlights and writing, editing, and distributing FAPC newsletters, Florida Market Bulletin, and special alerts. Proof/edit materials for division programs. Respond to industry inquiries regarding FAPC membership. Utilize contact management system to research member data base, enter new member information, create reports, etc. Assist with activities for the FL Farm Winery Program, Viticulture Advisory Council, ag industry sponsorships, and events. Promote the Fresh From Florida Program at industry meetings, tours, webinars, trade shows, events, and conferences. Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
