The Agency for Health Care Administration is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Distributed Computer Systems Analyst within the Division of Information Technology (IT), Bureau of Strategic Information Technologies. Several IT skill-set disciplines and areas make-up this strategic team. Information Technology solutions are built with IT security compliance and strategic planning in mind through the IT Strategic Planning Team. The IT Strategic Planning Team consists of Network Administration, Application Development & Support, and Telecommunications (Voice-over-Internet Protocol) plus cellular technologies as well as staff who support the administrative human resources and procurement needs of Information Technology (IT) staff, staff of the Agency, and the customers of the Agency. This is a technical position within the Division of Information Technology, Bureau of Strategic Information Technologies. The responsibilities include:

Monitors, troubleshoots, and resolves issues with the Agency's server and network infrastructure

Management of Microsoft AD and Office365 users and mailboxes

Administers the Agency's secure file transfer system and is responsible for its maintenance and support.

Reviews, makes suggestions, and drafts changes to policies and procedures, as necessary

Assists in communication with hardware and software vendors for purchasing new or upgraded components for network infrastructure and computer systems.

Other duties/projects as assigned

Skilled in the administration of Windows Server Operating Systems (2016-2022)

Knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of computer programming and/or computer systems analysis

Knowledge of basic networking principles and technologies (TCP/IP, IP ranges, physical connectivity, etc.)
