Applicants must be over the age of 18 years, have a high school diploma or GED, and have completed the mandatory 45 hours of Childcare training as required by the Department of Children and Families (DCF). Preference is given to candidates who have the national Child Development Associate certificate (CDA) or a degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development with (1) one or more years of experience in working with preschool-age children in a classroom setting.
