Job Overview:This positionis responsibleforprovidingexceptional guest service by courteously answering phones, greeting guests, makingappointments,andmaintainingSpaarea. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends isrequired.Your Responsibilities:
Must be able to work in afast-pacedenvironment.
Must bemultitaskoriented.
Must be able to work well with others and as a team.
Schedules appointments accurately.
Must be able to handle the computer system and all cash handling procedures.
Answer phones promptlyand in a friendly way.
Must be able to work well under pressure.
Knowledge of spa treatments.
Stock brochures atthe frontdesk.
Restock retail items.
Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager or Assistant Manager.
Participate andattendall training classes and staff meetings. Checks lights and equipment to ensure all are working, reports problemswithmaintenance.
Follows safety procedures andmaintainsa safe work environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
Reception desk and/or salon/spa experience preferred.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skillsrequired.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 20 – 35lbs.
Work in an upright standing position forlong periodsof time.
Walk and climb stairs; Handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment.
Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms.
Communicate,receive,and exchange ideas and informationby means ofthe spoken and written word.
Ability tonavigate the property/building quickly and easilyasrequiredto meet the job functions.
Complete all required forms. Ability to work extended hours and weekends.
