All the while, we'll provide you with opportunities to keep advancing your career.A caregiver in this position works days/evenings/nights/weekends from 6:30AM - 2:00PM or 11:00AM - 7:00PM.A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Set up, deliver and serve food.
Assist with daily dietary requests and needs of patients, visitors and caregivers.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Prepare, set up and replenish steam table, salad bar, cooler, baker's racks, coffee area, condiments and silverware throughout the meal period.
Make pizzas to order and maintain all ingredients.
Set up and support catering events.
Maintain the register and proper cash handling with overages/shortages of less than 1.5% of total drawer.
Ensure proper food temperature using calibrated thermometers.
Rotate, prepare and label all leftover food.
Set up, serve and collect dinner patient trays.
Complete cleaning assignments.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Good reading and writing skills and ability to add, subtract and handle other arithmetic functions.
Basic computer skills.
Can accurately measure and portion formula and food.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
High school diploma or GED.
Two years of experience in nutrition in a healthcare setting.

Able to stand on feet for 8 hours; push carts loaded with food and service related equipment and stock; able to lift items up to 25 pounds.
