Your expertise? Advising clients on data-driven strategies to achieve their strategic, financial, and operational goals. You have both in spades, and as a manager you’re a natural at appreciating diverse perspectives and bringing out the best in teams.The Work:

You will support our clients across a broad range of industries to address their issues related to:

Operating Model Strategy for Manufacturing function, including integration with the rest of the Supply Chain to break down silos and drive efficiency

Manufacturing Network Strategy and Design to optimize where things are sourced, where they are made, and where they are going

Strategic cost reduction and M&A synergies for manufacturing conversion costs

Digital Factory Strategy – Industry 4.0, IoT platform, artificial intelligence, machine learning, prescriptive maintenance, connected devices, connected workers, blockchain, etc.

You will spot, isolate, and solve manufacturing problems using your skills in:

Operating model architecture – people, process, technology

Manufacturing Process Excellence – Planning/Scheduling, Routing Optimization, Capital projects

Advanced analytics – Network Optimization, Make vs Buy modeling, Business case development

You will also, throughout your work, have opportunities to:

Lead small sized teams (3-10), with diverse backgrounds skills and knowledge

Effectively manage and coach others, collaborating with internal and external parties

Support client sales origination and thought leadership development

Challenge legacy ways of working using constructive techniques that fuel client growth

Drive a positive impact in the communities where we work and live

Here’s What You Need:

Minimum of 9 years’ experience working on manufacturing improvement initiatives

Minimum of 3 years’ experience related to new technology (Digital Thread / Twin, Robotic Process Automation, IoT, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, etc.)

Minimum of 3 years of driving insights using visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and analytics tools (i.e. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)

Minimum of 5 years‘ experience in an external consulting role

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations, Supply Chain management, or related field or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If associate degree, must have minimum 6 years’ work experience)

Bonus Points If:

Tier 1 strategy consulting firm experience

An MBA or equivalent graduate degree

Experience with MES/MOM systems and IoT platforms

Ability to support both client sales origination and project delivery

Ability to effectively manage and coach others

A collaborative mindset, are a team player

Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

Excellent leadership, management, and relationship building skills
