Description Responsibilities:
Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN).
Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices.
Monitor network performance and integrity.
Resolve issues that tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure.
Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.
Design and implement security measures for the protection of network systems.
Mentor team members on technical issues and provide support when necessary.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Proven work experience as a Network Engineer or similar role in network design and implementation.
Professional certification (e.g. CCNP, CCDP) is a plus.
Solid understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS).
Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model.
Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
BS degree in Computer Science or a related field.
In-depth understanding of network security principles.
