-We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Plant Operator, Experienced Loader Operator, and 2 labors
-ASPHALT PLANT OPERATOR to operate plants control, to weigh and deliver specified quantities of aggregates and asphalt cement to dryer for heating, and to the mixer for mixing and dumping into trucks.
-Plant operator maintain proper heat in dryer by adjusting thermostatic controls and maintain proper flow of materials.
-Assist in maintenance of plant equipment and compiling reports regarding plant production and plant maintenance.
-uses tools such as sledgehammer, wrenches, screwdrivers, cutting torch, welder, pneumatic hammer/drill, sand blaster, pipe wrench, and hand shovel.
-answer telephone, radio, and takes and inputs orders.
-May be exposed to extremes of hot and cold weather.
-Must have reliable transportation.
-MAY PERFORM OTHER RELATED DUTIES.
-LOADER OPERATOR will operate several types of power construction equipment, to excavate, lift, and move materials, products or supplies, and do so in a safe and timely manner with the highest quality possible.
-Candidates should have at least three years of experience operating a loader or dozer.
-Candidates will be responsible for inspecting equipment before and after you use them, and move materials from one area to another.
-All equipment operators must follow company and governmental safety guidelines at all times.
-Follow all safety procedures while operating heavy equipment
-Ensure equipment stays in clean working order and report any issues to supervisor
-Ensure the work area is safe and compliant at all times.
-PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
- 2 LABORS with asphalt plant experience a plus.
-Performs a variety of manual construction tasks in construction projects under the direction of a crew foreman.
