Description If you have a background in accounting and great interpersonal skills, you may the perfect candidate for this part-time Bookkeeper role at a company known for it's team-oriented environment. Offered as a long-term contract / temporary position, this role is based in the St. Augustine, Florida region. Robert Half is on the lookout for an organized, efficient Bookkeeper to join the efforts of a growing firm. Be sure to learn more about this role! If you have experience with A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting, then this may be the right Bookkeeper role for you.Your responsibilities
Supervise bookkeeping policies and procedures, along with developing a framework to track financial transactions with an established chart of accounts
Support accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Review payments received and record deposits
Produce financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Conduct and manage the general ledger
Balance accounts by reconciling entries
Uphold quality historical records by filing documents
Requirements - 2+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper
Previous experience using accounting software
BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Reconciliations experience
Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel
Practical knowledge of journal entries
Adeptness in Accounts Payable (AP)
General familiarity with journal entries
QuickBooks experience
Monthly Bank Reconciliation experience
Accounts Payable (AP) experience highly desired
Demonstrated knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
