Commercial General Contractor in search of a Civil Site Work Project Manager. EOE

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Applicant will be responsible for the daily operations of the managing the project including but not limited to: managing project from commencement thru completion, ensuring safety compliance is in accordance with State and Federal laws (OSHA), maintain efficient project goals to minimize any inefficiencies, work directly with Project Construction Manager to ensure the project runs smoothly, assist in managing company site employees as well as coordinating with other subcontractors maintain the highest of quality of standards and service. Candidate MUST HAVE experience with FDOT work, site work, underground utilities and vertical construction.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Direct involvement with construction project manager, engineers, architects, surveyors, State and Federal agencies and client with project coordination

Translate construction plans, drawings and specifications

Job costing

Implement OSHA Safety Standards and company safety protocol to ensure safety of all construction personnel

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Business degree or equivalent

MUST HAVE FDOT KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge of commercial construction (Civil and Underground Utilities)

Strong leadership skills

Effective time management skills

Problem solving skills

Dependable transportation

Experience utilizing Microsoft Applications (word, excel, outlook, etc…)

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS (Preferred but not required)

OSHA 10 or 30 hour Safety

CPR/First Aid
