Key Responsibilities:
Select appropriate metal materials and alloys based on project specifications and requirements.
Installation various metal components including flashing, gutters, downspouts, and other roofing accessories.
Ensure accuracy and quality in the fabrication process, adhering to established standards and safety protocols.
Inspect fabricated metal parts to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards.
Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate the installation of fabricated metal components on roofing systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to metal fabrication, ensuring efficient workflow and project timelines.
Maintain and repair metal fabrication equipment as needed, performing routine maintenance and inspections.
Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to promote a safe working environment for oneself and others.
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met satisfactorily.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a metal installation, preferably in the roofing or construction industry.
Must be able to pass a background check
Knowledge of different types of metal materials, alloys, and their properties.
Familiarity with metal fabrication machinery and tools, including shears, brakes, rollers, and welding equipment.
Ability to operate machinery safely and effectively, adhering to safety protocols.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality fabricated metal parts.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
