Currier TK continues to grow and is seeking a full-time Mechanical/Electrical Technician to be an integral part of our talented team. At this time, we are only looking for applicants with existing experience. WE ARE WILLING TO PAY FOR YOUR EXPERIENCE. Currier TK is a specialty fabricator producing turn-key aviation fueling skids that get shipped around the world. You will be mastering a position to assemble mechanical systems, complete the electrical wiring while reading blueprints/drawings and collaborating with the production lead. We offer on the job training to assist in making the most of the abilities you currently bring to the team. You will become part of a small highly skilled team, where you can grow and become successful as an individual. Your contributions would be immediately seen. Responsibilities
Reading blueprints and drawings, translating that to reality
Setting up any equipment or machinery required to complete project
Assembly of pipe, equipment, and mechanical systems
Maintain use of any necessary Personal Protective Equipment
Wiring & testing of the power & control systems
Maintain equipment in a proper and safe manner
Qualifications
At least 2 years’ experience in a Mechanical/Electrical setting (if you have more than (2) years in either discipline and are willing to learn, we may consider training!)
Ability to lift 30 pounds regularly and occasionally more
Experience using a variety of power tools and electrical tools
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
Attention to detail
Professional Certification a PLUS
