We are currently seeking motivated and dependable Shutter Installers with experience in screen enclosure installation to join our growing team.
Job Summary:
The Shutter Installer is responsible for the safe, precise, and efficient installation of various hurricane protection systems and related aluminum products. This role involves hands-on labor, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. Experience working with screen enclosures or aluminum framing is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Install various types of hurricane protection systems, including accordion, Bahama, colonial, and motorized shutters.
Assist with or perform the installation and repair of screen enclosures, composite rooms, and other aluminum structures.
Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and measurements accurately.
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and applicable codes.
Maintain professionalism and clear communication with customers on-site.
Load and unload materials, keep the work area clean, and properly dispose of debris.
Work closely with team members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule.
Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum 1 year of experience in shutter installation, screen enclosure construction, or aluminum fabrication required.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work comfortably at heights.
Skilled in the safe use of ladders, scaffolding, drills, saws, and other power tools.
Strong work ethic, dependability, and a positive attitude.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
