We are seeking a personable, iexperienced, and service-driven Head Server to lead the front-of-house service team in our traditional English pub. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, a passion for guest service, and an appreciation for British pub culture. As Head Server, you will be the go-to person on the floor, ensuring that all guests receive an exceptional dining and drinking experience while supporting and guiding the server team.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise daily front-of-house operations during service hours
Train, mentor, and support servers, bartenders, and support staff
Provide warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service to all guests
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally
Maintain excellent knowledge of menu items, beer/wine/spirits lists, and specials
Ensure proper table setups, cleanliness, and presentation standards
Manage floor assignments and monitor workflow for efficiency
Support bar and host stand as needed to maintain smooth service
Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless communication
Uphold health and safety, licensing, and food hygiene standards
Assist in scheduling, stock checks, and opening/closing procedures
Report directly to the Pub Manager with feedback and suggestions

Requirements:
3+ years of experience in hospitality, with at least 1 year in a supervisory/server lead role
Strong knowledge of English/British cuisine, ales, and pub etiquette preferred
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
A customer-first attitude and high attention to detail
Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol (according to local regulations)
