Program Manager Council: Girl Scouts Of Gulfcoast FloridaJob Location: FL - Sarasota and within 10-counties council areaSalary Range: $45,000 start (Annually)Employment Type: Full-Time (Regular)Job #: 8281Post Date: 2/14/2024Job Summary Join the Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida Member Experience Team for a meaningful career experience and make a difference in girls’ lives, in our community and in the world! We are hiring a full-time Program Manager responsible for the creation and management of an integrated program delivery and trainings plan that meets the needs, preferences, and interests of current and prospective girl members to support retention and new member engagement. The Manager works with girl and adult advisory teams and volunteers, and internal colleagues and external constituencies. Applies expert knowledge of girls’ development, the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, and the National Program Portfolio to ensure that programming is aligned, delivered, and enriched through the mobilization of volunteers and local partnerships, resources, and subject matter experts. Manages the development and implementation of adult outdoor trainings to include outdoor skills, canoe/kayak, archery, low ropes challenge course, first aid, CPR, and lifeguard certification. Recruits, trains, and manages volunteers for facilitation of council programs and trainings.Job Qualifications Qualified candidate is computer and software proficient, organized, self-directed, and a team player that will contribute to a positive organizational leadership culture. Demonstrated competencies in leadership, mentoring and coaching, curriculum development, program and event planning, training, volunteer management, collaborative project management, interpersonal skills, and customer service. A minimum of three years of directly relevant experience is required. Knowledge of outdoor activities and camping preferred. The Manager will be able to work a full-time flexible schedule with some evenings and weekends, and occasional overnights. The Manager will work in the Sarasota office, at community events, at program locations, and local home-based offsite.
