We are looking for an experienced backup driver to operate a 26’ box truck to transport cargo for our company. Must have 3+ years driving experience. As a driver, you must have a safe driving record, follow all state and national driving laws, rules, and regulations. In this position, you will follow prearranged routes to destinations or use maps and GPS to navigate routes. You will also maintain vehicle upkeep and cleanliness. Responsibilities: Serve as a backup driver, operating a non-CDL 26’ box truck to deliver products to our customers safely and on time. Assist in the shipping department with packing, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment. Load and unload the truck, ensuring all items are handled with care. Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with the dispatch team. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any issues. Help maintain a clean and organized shipping area. Perform other duties as assigned to support the shipping department. Qualifications: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to operate a non-CDL 26’ box truck. Previous experience in driving and/or shipping is preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift and move heavy items as required. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
