We are a high-end RV Manufacturer in Nokomis, FL looking to add a new Quality Control Technician to our team. We have been in business for 40 years, all of which we have been family owned and operated. We build both Class-C and Class-B motorhomes on a variety of Ford and Mercedes cutaway chassis. Everything from fiberglass body fabrication, frame extensions, flooring, cabinet building, upholstery, and even our exterior coach painting is done here on premises.
We specifically are looking for someone to join our "Final Assembly" crew conducting QC checks on newly manufactured motorhomes. Technician will be given a checklist to follow in operating each of the various systems that can be found in our coaches to check that all systems and components are properly installed and functioning as intended. Tasks such as filling the holding tanks with water and running all the interior coach faucets/shower to check for water leaks; checking that all interior lighting is functioning; making sure all engine fluids are topped off; checking that the tires are adequately inflated; spraying each window to check for water leaks; etc. are all examples of the different tasks that will be involved.
All tools and personal protective equipment will be provided. Applicant must be regularly familiar with basic tools such as a drill, screw gun, air saw, and a voltmeter. Applicant must be able to read a tape measure quickly and accurately. Handyman or home remodeling experience is ideal. Applicant must have a good attention to detail and be organized. Previous RV experience is a big plus.
Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am till 3:30pm with a 1/2-hour lunch from 11:30 till 12:00pm. Pay will be hourly and depend on applicant's prior experience.
