Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Restoration Technician to join our team. This role involves overseeing restoration projects, leading a team of technicians, and performing hands-on restoration work, including mold remediation and water mitigation. The ideal candidate has experience in environmental restoration, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work in physically demanding conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of restoration technicians on-site
Perform hands-on work in mold remediation and water mitigation
Set up and maintain proper containment for mold remediation
Ensure proper setup, operation, and maintenance of restoration equipment
Assess damages, document findings, and communicate with clients and insurance adjusters
Follow industry safety standards and company protocols
Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism in all interactions
Train and mentor new technicians
Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in restoration services (water/fire/mold/biohazard)
IICRC certification(s) preferred (WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT, etc.)
Ability to perform physical labor in demanding conditions, including lifting heavy equipment, working in confined spaces, and standing for long periods
Strong leadership and team management skills
Experience setting up containment for mold remediation
Valid driver’s license with a clean record
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
