Must be able to do layouts and install pipe as well as prep pipe for welders. 6G VALID CERTIFICATION WILL BE REQUIRED,The pay rate for this job is $28-$32 DOECall Migdalia at (813) 344-9259 to connect with us for this career opportunity today!Responsibilities:The candidate will be responsible for welding metal pipes, tubes, plates and other metal components. Follow sketches, details, and specifications.Inspect equipment and structures. Follow and maintain safety protocols for tasks.Candidates must be 6G certified!Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements).Measure and mark pipes for proper installation.Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead).Test and inspect welded joints, surfaces, and structures to discover flaws.Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety or performance.Assist pipefitter when necessary. Willing to perform tasks other than those specifically associated with welding to include but not limited to hydronic pipe installation, layout, installation of pipe stand, associated hanger assemblies, and performance of test procedures related to pipe installations.Qualification:8 - 10 Years’ experienceMust always put SAFETY FIRST. Ability to determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.Must own all hand tools needed to perform as a welder as described in WRN's tool list.Perform multiple tasks safely and with quality.Work overtime as required.Have reliable transportation and are willing to go to job sites in the areas we work.Work inside and outside.Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Work at various heights above the floor with a ladder, scaffold, and man lift when required.Work in excavated trenches.Must have a 6G certification with valid documentation.Must be able to weld in many positions.Must be able to weld many different types of material (both pipe and structural preferred).Must understand construction terms.Must be able to use Oxygen and Acetylene Torch to cut steel pipe, plate, and other componentsIf you’re a tradesman or tradeswoman looking for skilled trades job opportunities, look no further.
