Experience Required: 2 years
Pay: Starting at $200 per day (based on experience and qualifications)
We are seeking an experienced and hardworking Groundsman to join our professional tree care team in Sarasota, FL. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working in tree services, particularly in assisting tree climbers, managing debris, and ensuring job site safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist tree climbers in daily operations.
Operate tools such as chainsaws, wood chippers, and other equipment as needed.
Safely handle and dispose of debris and brush.
Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and procedures.
Support the team with any additional tasks as necessary.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in tree work or landscaping.
Valid DL.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Knowledge of tree rigging and ground operations.
Familiarity with tools such as chainsaws and chippers.
Strong commitment to safety and team collaboration.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
