We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Medicare Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients in understanding their Medicare options and guiding them through the enrollment process. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work independently in an outside sales environment. As a Medicare Agent, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals navigate their healthcare choices while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Florida Financial & Insurance Group is rapidly expanding our local presence ahead of the 2025 Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP). We are actively hiring 10 licensed agents in Port Charlotte and Englewood, Fl. This is a high-comp, local opportunity for motivated agents ready to grow their client base with Medicare and cross-sell Final Expense, Mortgage Protection, Life Insurance and Financial Products.

Duties

Conduct outside sales activities to promote Medicare products and services.

Engage with potential clients through telemarketing, networking, and community events.

Analyze client needs and provide tailored solutions based on their healthcare requirements.

Negotiate terms and conditions of insurance plans to meet client expectations.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions through effective sales administration.

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies for Medicare products.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in Medicare policies to provide informed guidance.

Assist clients with benefits administration and ensure they understand their coverage options.

Requirements

Proven experience in outside sales, preferably within the insurance or healthcare industry.

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close sales effectively.

Experience in retail sales is a plus.

Bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly desirable to serve diverse populations.

Proficient in sales administration processes and documentation.

Excellent analysis skills to assess client needs accurately.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex information clearly.

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Previous experience in telemarketing is beneficial but not required.

Active Florida 2-15 or 2-40 license Medicare Certification (AHIP) or willingness to obtain.
