Service Department Assistant needed to join our busy service team at Sunset Kia of Sarasota!
We need a multi-tasking, enthusiastic, customer service expert for our friendly service department. The right candidate will become the friendly face and voice of our department, including greeting clients and making them feel welcome, asking about vehicle concerns and writing up tickets, making follow-up calls and setting appointments, preparing and transporting cars to and from the service drive, and any other tasks that would help our service advisor team serve our customers better.
Full-time position with benefits. Hours are generally 8-5 Monday-Friday, some Saturdays are possible. If this sounds like a fit for you, fill out our aplication and Lou will give you a call.
Service Advisor Assistant Duties Include:
Greet service guests as they enter the service department
Make customers feel welcome and provide assistance as needed
Ask clients about their vehicle concerns and start repair orders
Prepare vehicle for service and transport cars
Make follow-up phone calls and emails
Set service appointments by phone or internet
Other duties assigned to assist in the operation of the dealership
Service Advisor Assistant Requirements
Our Service Advisor Assistant needs to be approachable, friendly, and willing to do what it takes to help our Kia service customers and our Kia service department team. You must embody Sunset Automotive Group's stellar community reputation of honesty, integrity and superior customer service.
The ideal Service Assistant will also have:
Friendly, helpful demeanor and professional appearance
Solid computer and phone skills are required.
Experience in a customer service or inside sales position preferred.
Candidate must have a valid driver's license
Verifiable work history
Previous dealer experience a plus
Physical ability to perform duties full-time standing and working in the heat at times
