Job Title: Lawn Service Crew Member and Driver
Job Summary: We are seeking a Lawn Service Crew Member who can safely operate an Isuzu Landscape Dump Truck and trailer combination for transporting landscaping equipment and materials. The candidate must be able to perform basic lawn maintenance tasks and comply with all safety and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations applicable in Florida.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive an Isuzu Landscape Dump Truck with an attached trailer to transport landscaping equipment and materials to job sites throughout Florida.
Perform basic lawn care services, including mowing, trimming, edging, and debris removal.
Load, unload, and secure equipment and materials on trailers.
Conduct basic maintenance and inspections on trucks, trailers, and lawn care equipment.
Follow landscaping plans for residential and commercial properties as directed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles and tools.
Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and Department of Labor (DOL) requirements, including Florida labor laws.
Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors.
Perform other groundskeeping tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
No formal education required.
Valid Florida driver’s license or Government issued license with a clean driving record.
Ability to safely drive and maneuver a truck with an attached trailer.
Basic experience in lawn care, landscaping, or grounds maintenance.
Ability to operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work in Florida’s hot and humid weather conditions, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently or with minimal supervision.
Work Environment and Schedule:
Outdoor work environment with exposure to varying Florida weather conditions, including heat, humidity, and seasonal storms.
Full-time position with overtime pay on weekends.
Monday through Saturday schedule.
Compensation:
$800.00 - $1200.00 per week based on work ethic, leadership skills, and experience.
