We are seeking a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our team
Overview:
We are a specialized bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) clinic
seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
with proven phlebotomy skills to join our patient-focused team. The ideal
candidate will provide high-quality clinical support to our physician and help
ensure an excellent patient experience in a concierge wellness-centered
environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for examinations and proceduresCollect and process blood and other laboratory specimens (venipuncture and fingerstick)
Document vital signs, medical histories, and patient concerns accurately in EMR
Administer hormone and GLP=1 injections
Maintain inventory and cleanliness of exam rooms, phlebotomy station, and medical supplies
Ensure lab specimens are correctly labeled, stored, and transported according to protocol
Educate patients on HRT protocols, medication instructions, and post-injection care
Support front office staff when needed (scheduling, phone calls, check-in/out)
Follow all HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards
Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited program (required)
Phlebotomy certification and at least 1 year of recent blood draw experience (required)
Previous experience in a hormone replacement, wellness, or integrative medicine clinic (preferred) but not required will train
Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR), preferably Cerbo
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Able to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical setting
Professional demeanor and compassionate patient care approach
Schedule & Benefits:
Monday through Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm, Closed Friday, No weekends
