Position: Financial Analyst

Department: Finance

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer

Location: Bradenton, FL

Job Summary: The Financial Analyst will be an integral part of the finance team, responsible for performing financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking. This role will analyze financial data, create financial models for decision support, and report on financial performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and their application to the manufacturing industry, helping to drive strategic decisions and improve financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Reporting: Analyze financial data and trends to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes. Support the CFO in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on the company's financial performance.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with various departments to gather information and project future revenues and expenses. Monitor budget variances and report significant issues to management.

Operational Analysis: Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts. Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvements.

Cost Analysis: Analyze manufacturing costs and product margins and recommend strategies to reduce costs and improve profitability. Work with the production and supply chain teams to understand cost drivers and suggest cost-saving initiatives.

Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting activities. Use these models to simulate various scenarios and assess potential impacts on the company's financial health.

Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies. Assess financial risks and work to minimize them, ensuring that financial practices are transparent and ethical.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the manufacturing sector.

Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.

Proficient in financial modeling techniques and tools.

Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software applications.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
