MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE Successful completion of two years of college coursework in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field at an accredited college or university and two years of experience in the fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware, and other equipment including related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing help desk customer service and support. DESIRED SKILLS The successful candidate must be work well with a team and demonstrate the ability to efficiently multitask in a fast paced environment and present a professional and helpful demeanor at all times. The candidate must also have thorough knowledge of PC hardware and software products; thorough knowledge of network connections; knowledge of PC security issues; ability to promote standardization throughout a large, diverse organization; ability to analyze, diagnose and resolve issues in a timely manner; ability to prioritize tasks effectively; the desire to continually improve technical equipment and policies; the ability to diagnose failures, perform studies and evaluate changes; and be familiar with IT standards, security, and system software.
