Education: Graduate from a medical assistant training program accredited by ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES)
Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges
(ACCSC)
Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools
(ACICS)
Accrediting Council for continuing Education and Training (ACCET)
Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior College
(ACCJC)
OR
a formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces.
Certification: Current certification as a medical assistant by ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
American Medical Technologists (AMT)
Experience:
Six months of experience as a Medical Assistant after graduation.
U.S. Citizenship:
HCWs performing under this contract shall be U.S. citizens.
English Language Requirement: The Contractor shall ensure that all HCWs providing services under this contract are able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate.
HCW Physical Capability:
HCWs shall be physically capable of standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time and physically capable of performing all services required.
