Staff Accountant

Description We are offering an employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Riviera Beach, Florida. The industry in which we operate is nonprofit, and the workplace offers the flexibility of remote work one day a week. Responsibilities: Assisting in the management of cash flow to ensure smooth financial operations Processing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) efficiently to ensure no discrepancies Conducting bank reconciliations to maintain financial transparency Assisting with the creation and management of budgets and forecasting to facilitate financial planning Carrying out balance sheet reconciliations to confirm financial integrity Assisting the controller with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Performing month-end close procedures, including journal entries and general ledger maintenance Reviewing and managing cash flow to ensure financial stability Using MIP software for various accounting tasks, though not a mandatory requirement.Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations Thorough understanding of General Ledger management Experience in preparing Journal Entries Familiarity with Month End Close procedures Skilled in Cash Flow Management Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
