Accounts Payable Manager

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Manager in the transport industry based in Riviera Beach, Florida. This role entails supervising staff, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payments, and providing excellent service to internal stakeholders.Responsibilities: Supervise the Accounts Payable staff, ensuring effective team management and productivity. Manage the overall Accounts Payable processes, ensuring smooth operations. Guarantee the accuracy of payments, making sure all financial transactions are correct and up to date. Ensure all financial deadlines are met in a timely manner. Deliver excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, addressing their inquiries effectively. Use accounting software systems to automate and streamline processes. Implement account coding for better financial tracking and reporting. Handle data processing tasks, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of information. Perform regular auditing to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial records. Utilize the Automated Clearing House (ACH) for electronic payments and collections. Requirements Possess a minimum of one year's experience in Accounts Payable or related field. Proficient in Account Coding and Accrual Accounting. Ability to perform Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP) tasks proficiently. Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is essential. Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services is desirable. Experience with Concur software would be beneficial. Ability to perform Data Processing tasks accurately and efficiently. Knowledge of Auditing procedures and practices. Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is preferable.
