Description We are in search of a Human Resources Consultant to support our client in the Industrial Services space with a high priority strategic initiative. Located in Riverview, Florida, this project provides the opportunity to contribute to the organization's HR function. This role is a short-term contract employment opportunity offering hybrid working arrangements.Responsibilities: Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the HR department Provide recommendations for process improvements after SOPs are established Assist in managing and streamlining hiring and termination processes due to industry requirements Support the HR Director and HR Admin in their day-to-day operations Prepare for open enrollment procedures and assist during open enrollment day Utilize Paylocity for payroll, applications, onboarding, and open enrollment processes Manage employee relations and ensure compliance with company policies Oversee the administration of benefit functions Enhance communication processes within the HR departmentRequirements The candidate must have at least 7 years of experience in a Human Resources role or similar. Proficiency in Benefit Functions is essential for this role. Strong Communication skills are required, both written and verbal. Knowledge of Compliance regulations and laws related to HR practices is necessary. Experience in managing Employee Relations is a must. Familiarity with Hiring Processes and best practices is required. Proficiency in using Paylocity HR software is a plus. Experience in Process Improvement within the HR department is necessary. Knowledge of Department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) is required. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills are required. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion is necessary. Proven leadership skills and the ability to make informed decisions is required. Familiarity with labor laws and employment legislation is a plus. Excellent problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills are necessary. Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required. Strong ethical standards and a high level of integrity is necessary.
