Bookkeeper

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Punta Gorda, Florida. As a Bookkeeper, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that include processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. You will also be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action.Responsibilities: Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently Maintain accurate customer credit records Resolve customer inquiries promptly and effectively Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary actions Reconcile accounts and prepare reports Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Perform bank reconciliations and manage bookkeeping tasks Carry out data entry tasks and use Microsoft Excel for various operations Handle month-end close procedures Manage payroll operations Utilize QuickBooks and Drake Tax Software for various accounting procedures.
