You'll be supported as you follow your dreams and find where you belong, here at Tradition Hospital.Leading transport operations within Cleveland Clinic FL market is a pivotal role in throughput patient care; a role that is central to numerous arms of patient operations/flow. This role collaborates with enterprise leaders of centralized services (bed control, transfer center), market executive leadership for strategic projects, and close to day-to-day patient encounters.The ideal caregiver is someone who:

Has experience managing healthcare system transportation including ALS, BLS transport.

Has experience managing dispatch operations, paramedics, EMTs, dispatchers, and coordinating air transport.

Has experience working with local municipalities emergency services, transport, Fire/Rescue.

Is experience with managing departmental operating budgets and productivity.

Manages department personnel and operations which includes staffing, training, work flow analysis and performance management.

Manages staffing to ensure appropriate allocation and compliance with goals and objectives.

Monitors quality and financial performance.

Ensures compliance with government health regulations, JCAHO guidelines, quality requirements and customer service standards.

Recommends enhancement and cost saving strategies.

Resolves interdepartmental issues to ensure consistency in quality, procedure and policy application.

Develops, monitors and implements programs to enhance customer service, develop skills and improve scope of service.

Analyzes programs and makes improvements.

Participates in managers meetings and relevant committees as assigned.

Other duties as assigned.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration or related field.

Certifications:

None required.

Complexity of Work:

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Must be able to take appropriate action in a stressful environment.

Work Experience:

Minimum six years supervisory or management experience in a related setting.

Healthcare experience preferred.

Offset: Master's degree and five years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Has experience managing healthcare system transportation including ALS, BLS transport.

Has experience managing dispatch operations, paramedics, EMTs, dispatchers, and coordinating air transport.

Has experience working with local municipalities emergency services, transport, Fire/Rescue.

Has experience with managing departmental operating budgets and productivity.

Physical Requirements:

Manual dexterity sufficient to operate office equipment.

May require extended periods of sitting, standing and walking.

Must be able to walk to attend meetings; must have normal or corrected vision to normal range.

Ability to clearly communicate by phone and in person.

May occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Personal Protective Equipment:

Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.

Pay RangeMinimum hourly: $40.48Maximum hourly: $61.74The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
