Experienced Lead Veterinary Technician

We’re seeking a Lead Veterinary Technician with at least two years of leadership experience to join our dedicated and collaborative team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part not only in patient care but also in mentoring and leading our team of veterinary assistants and technicians to deliver top-notch service.What You’ll Do:Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Leading by example in daily technical duties and patient careProviding guidance, support, and training to the technician and assistant teamTriage of incoming patients and effective pet restraintCollection and analysis of lab samplesDiagnostic imaging and anesthetic monitoringSurgical prep and assistanceAdministering medications and managing treatment plansNursing care for hospitalized and critical patientsCommunicating clearly and compassionately with clients about treatment plans and patient careMaintaining accurate and thorough medical recordsCollaborating with doctors to anticipate their needs and ensure smooth workflowsPlease note: This position may involve exposure to unpleasant odors, noises, animal waste, bites/scratches, and contagious diseases.
