Excellent starting wage and benefits package, including 401k Company Match and Profit Sharing!Facilities Manager responsibilities to include
Plans, controls, and directs real estate activities such as site location and acquisition, right-of-way negotiation, building and land acquisition and disposition, space leasing, property management, and maintenance of properties.
Manages space leasing for 15+ facilities – including lease negotiation, site relocation, appropriation request process (owner of), and managing approval timelines in conjunction with parent company and other stakeholders.
Direct contact for building insurance activities (disaster recovery, internal audit, site walk-through management, etc.)
General building management (coordinate facilities repair/improvement investments over $5k)
Ensures the optimal utilization of the organization's facilities.
Assesses and evaluates the physical space requirements of the organization and recommends plans to meet needs. Owns and manages the facility projects to completion.
Ensures proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance.
Accountable for managing people, setting direction, and deploying resources.
Results may depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization where formal authority is not held.
Progression within the role reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities.
Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes, or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.
Cross-functionally manages professional employees and/or supervisors or supervises large, complex support, production, or operations team(s).
Has accountability for the performance and results of each project team.
Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
Decisions and problem solving are guided by policies, procedures, and business plan; receives guidance from senior manager.
Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers.
Experience
An ideal candidate will have at least 5-7 years of directly relevant experiences.
Strong analytical skills to identify areas of improvement
Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, and customers
Detail oriented with excellent follow up practices
