Accounts Payable Manager

Description We are in the market for a proficient Accounts Payable Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry, located in Pompano Beach, Florida. As an Accounts Payable Manager, you will be tasked with the management and processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relations, and ensuring the accurate execution of job costing. The role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Carry out invoice review, entry, and approval follow-up tasks Implement a 3-way match system for invoice processing Perform job costing for invoices Maintain and review vendor statements Ensure the accurate completion of accounting functions Utilize accounting software systems for data processing Conduct auditing tasks to ensure financial accuracy Handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) processing Reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy Utilize account coding skills in the execution of tasks. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role within the Manufacturing industry. Proficient in account coding and accrual accounting. Strong knowledge of accounting software systems. Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is a must. Demonstrated ability in data processing and accounting functions. Proven experience with accounts payable (AP). Strong auditing skills. Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions. Proven ability to reconcile vendor statements. Experience with job cost and 3-way matching procedures. No requirement for a note to be shown in the bullet points.
