Qualifications
3 years+ experience in water-based fire protection system inspection, testing and maintenance in accordance with NFPA 25.
Current NICET I/ NICET II/NICET III water-based fire protection system certification.
Current Backflow Assembly Tester Certification is a bonus.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn from others and take advantage of opportunities.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Experience using handheld electronic devices (phones, tablets, etc.)
Valid driver license and clean driving record.
Attention to detail and organization are a must.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Use inspection software to produce detailed inspection reports.
Perform fire pump and main drain tests as well as properly trip dry and pre-action systems.
Perform test and flows on fire hydrants.
Must be willing to travel to local job site locations.
Must be able to be available on-call when scheduled.
Must be physically fit to perform the demanding work of the trade.
