We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade electrical and instrumentation systems within our manufacturing facility. This role ensures the reliability and efficiency of production and utility systems to support safe and high-quality operations. Key responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing complex PLCs, AC/DC variable speed drives, MCCs, switchgear, and power distribution systems, as well as reading and updating E&I schematics and loop diagrams. The technician will also ensure compliance with the National Electric Code and stay current with industry advancements. The ideal candidate will have a two-year degree or equivalent experience in Electrical & Instrumentation with at least five years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Proficiency in PLC programming, drive systems, and motor troubleshooting is highly desirable, along with computer skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and SFDC. This role also involves supporting capital installations, process improvements, and system upgrades while providing technical guidance to team members and collaborating with leadership on troubleshooting efforts. Regular work hours are M-F 6:30am-3:00pm. Must be available for occasional overtime during special projects and on call every 4 weeks.
