Our innovative government integrator client is seeking a highly motivated Field Service Technician to support ongoing operations and maintenance efforts for federal clients.
Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen with an active Secret clearance.Responsibilities of the Field Service Technician: - Install, maintain, and repair products: equipment, systems, and software
- Assemble, install, and configure systems and equipment in line with site assessments and schematics
- Test and verify hardware and support peripherals to ensure specifications and requirements are met
- Monitor equipment functioning and make necessary modifications to ensure system works in line with specifications
- Perform routine system maintenance and analysis
- Travel frequently to customer sites to perform duties
Requirements of the Field Service Technician: - High school diploma or GED and Security+ certification required
- At least 2 years of customer service or related experience
- Strong knowledge of computer software and equipment
- Ability to remain up to day on rapid advances in technology
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
