I currently own a group home for adults with intellectual disabilities located in Pensacola Florida. I'm looking for someone who would be interested in being a "live-in" staff member Monday-Friday with weekends off. The live in staff will be working with six (6) female residents, so we are looking for a female employee. The pay starts at $68,640 a year. The live in employee will be paid a bi-weekly salary of $2,640. If the employee wishes to live in the group home as a primary residence to save money and chooses to be live-in seven days a week, the pay will start at $107,764 per year, with a bi-weekly salary of $4,144. No experience needed, but some experience preferred. We will provide and pay for all training needed. We will only do in person face-to-face interviews, so only local applicants need to apply. Responsibilities Include:
Teaching skills to promote independence
Supporting community inclusion and integration (this means taking residents on outings utilizing company van)
Assisting with daily living needs (cooking, cleaning, providing medications to residents)
Mentoring individuals to help build social skills and relationships
Provide guidance and support in daily activities
Take residents to provider appointments as needed
Qualifications Include:
18 years of age or older
Able to pass a level 2 background screen
High School diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
