Cross Dock AssociatePosition Summary:The Cross Dock Associate role is to check-in product received at the assigned cross dock.Responsibilities:
Sweeping, mopping, and trash in lobby, break room, and restrooms.
Maintain a clean, clear, and organized work area at all times. Clean as you go.
Maintain assigned equipment, document equipment deficiencies to management.
Work safely, following applicable safety procedures.
Report safety issues and concerns immediately.
Works closely with other departments and leaders to ensure proper product movement and tracking.
Maintain minimum accepted levels of productivity as specified by department metrics.
Manage time effectively to minimize non-productive / non-value-added hours.
Assists with any other tasks or special projects as assigned by the Cross Dock Manager
Qualifications:
Computer and clerical experience preferred.
Ability to occasionally move/position product weighing up to 75 lbs. without assistance.
Must be able to occasionally position self to maintain/move product throughout the facility and be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.
Must be able to constantly work in an open/outdoor warehouse environment.
Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred.
High school diploma or GED is required.
