MISSION:The mission of BAC Enterprises is to provide persons with disabilities innovative services and opportunities to achieve personal success.JOB SUMMARY:The Patrick Space Force Base (PSFB) Riverside Dining Hall Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the assigned contract. Functional areas include supervising and training staff, collaborating with vendors, and ensuring that safety policies are implemented. This positions primary focus is to develop a positive dining experience to ensure customer satisfaction.EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:The list of essential functions below is intended to be representative of the tasks performed within this job. Oversees and supervises the activities of the dining hall staff to ensure accomplishment of daily duties.
Ensures all phases of the daily dining hall operation meets contract specifications and quality assurance standards.
Monitor meal schedules to ensure adequate staff is available and set work pace.
Provide participative leadership for personnel to ensure individual success.
Communicate instructions from Project Manager.
Ensure proper methods are used in accomplishing assigned tasks to include answering questions regarding procedures, policies and written instructions.
Provide necessary materials to workers to accomplish assigned tasks.
Assure all workers on shift follow established safety and OSHA Guidelines are being followed.
Keep Project Manager informed of performance problems, contract discrepancies and other quality issues in a timely manner.
Provide on-going training for staff and follow-up support in your work area.
Ensure proper maintenance and report repair needs to the Project Manager.
Make employment recommendations to Project Manager (such as, hiring, promotion, termination, disciplinary, recognition, and appraisals).
Maintain a thorough knowledge of performance work statement (contract) and adherence to customer standards.
Fill in for Project Manager as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma. Other combination of education and experience may be considered.
Two years of comparable experience.
Minimum one-year supervisory experience.
Must be able to pass a background screening for access to the work areas.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Reliable transportation
Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities

Good administrative skills; comfortable performing multiple tasks concurrently.
