Description We are seeking a Patient Access Specialist for our client in Panama City Beach, Florida. As a Patient Access Specialist, you will be responsible for processing patient applications, maintaining accurate patient records, and handling patient inquiries. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Efficiently process patient credit applications, ensuring accuracy in all details Maintain and update patient credit records, adhering to data privacy regulations Monitor patient accounts regularly, keeping a close eye on any discrepancies or issues Take appropriate action on patient accounts when necessary, adhering to company protocols Handle inbound patient calls professionally, providing information and assistance as needed Utilize computer programs and EHR SYSTEM for patient data management and communication Operate Epic EMR systems proficiently to manage patient records and data Assist in clinical trial operations, ensuring patient data and records are correctly managed Handle patient authorizations, ensuring all necessary permissions are obtained for treatments and proceduresRequirements Proficiency in computer programs related to healthcare administration Familiarity with EHR system and ability to utilize it effectively Experience with Epic EMR software, or ability to learn quickly Comfortable answering inbound calls and providing excellent customer service Understanding of the process for obtaining authorizations in a healthcare setting Knowledge of clinical trial operations and ability to coordinate related activitiesRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
