Adecco Healthcare is searching for a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant to become part of our client's Urology team in Palm Harbor, FL - 34684. This is a direct-hire, full-time, and permanent opportunity.Pay$17-$24 an hourShift

Monday-Friday: 8am-5pm

No weekends.

Some Holidays (Hiring Manager with further discuss).

QualificationsRequired:

High School Diploma.

Graduate from a Medical Assistant program.

BLS Certification.

Certified or Registered Medical Assistant credential highly preferred (if not certified, initial salary will be less until certified/registered).

Preferred:

Urology experience.

Epic EHR experience.

Job SummaryThe Certified/Registered Medical Assistant in the Urology Office will provide comprehensive care to patients under the supervision of a physician and maintain professional and ethical standards in all interactions. The MA role encompasses a variety of patient care, administrative, and clinical tasks designed to streamline patient experience and support the office’s operations. This includes verifying insurance, ensuring appointment readiness, preparing patients and exam rooms for assessments or procedures, and completing vital intake functions like screenings, history taking, and medication reconciliation. You'll also educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary guidelines, complying with OSHA, CLIA, and Infection Prevention standards to ensure safety and quality. A vital part of the team, you'll contribute to a smooth, collaborative workflow, uphold confidentiality of sensitive information, and enhance patient satisfaction.Benefits
