Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are in the process of recruiting an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team located in Palm City, Florida. The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a crucial role in handling customer invoices, account reconciliation, and other related functions.Responsibilities Handle the processing of customer credit applications and ensure their accuracy and efficiency Maintain accurate records of customer credit Take charge of the reconciliation of accounts payable Conduct the task of entering invoices with precision Be responsible for the submission of invoices for approval Ensure the timely cutting of checks Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Adapt to the use of Sage for accounting purposes, training will be provided if needed Address and resolve customer inquiries effectively.Requirements Must possess a strong understanding of the Accounts Payable (AP) process. Experience with handling customer invoices is essential. Proficiency in account reconciliation is required. Ability to work with accounting software and other relevant computer applications. Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision. Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively. Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments. Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
