Client in Palm Beach Gardens is actively looking to hire Systems Engineer to their team on a permanent basis. The client is looking to hire a professional that is proficient in the following:
- Responsible for the management of High Availability Exchange and SQL servers both on premise and hosted
- Plan, administer and manage licensing for Microsoft 365 and related applications; SharePoint, Teams, etc. and security using ADFS SSO and multi-factor authentication
- Implements strategy for virus and Spam control using industry standard Antivirus systems and other tools deemed necessary
- Arranges and administers security measures to restrict unauthorized use of network systems
- Enforces IT standards and educates employees about compliance issues\concerns
- Performs system and data back-up, recovery and data archiving
- Manages the deployment of appropriate security patches, hot fixes and software updates
- Responsible for the management of internal and external DNS, as well as DHCP, VPN, and DFS
- Maintains and manages Windows print server and all associated devices
- Creates and implements scripts to be applied to AD GPO for new applications, printers, REG editing, mapped drives, etc.
- Maintains server room environment (power/heat/patch management/cleanliness)
- UPS management for all server room environments
- Assists in presenting recommendations related to purchasing and installing hardware and software
- Provides end-users, under direction of Director, Technology, with security access to necessary network resources, computer procedures and data
- In coordination with Sr. Network Engineer, maintains service logs, incident logs and support documentation
- Responsible for the management of multiple Windows Terminal Servers using a gateway application for load balancing
- Assists with development, testing and implementation of disaster recovery plan
- Significant knowledge of or background in integrated online systems and application software
- 5+ years of experience installing, configuring and supporting Microsoft infrastructure
- Ability to evaluate critical systems, prioritize work and determine solutions
- 5+ years of experience in: Windows Server current version and legacy, including Active directory, CPO, DFS and administration of share and NTFS permissions; MS Exchange Server; Windows Terminal Services; TCP/IP; Desktop Management Tools; Performance Monitoring Tools, VMware
- Prefer experience with Microsoft 365, Backup Software; DataDomain; BlueCoat SG; Microsoft Advanced Threat Protection; Barracuda Spam Firewall appliance; JDEdwards Oneworld; Reference Manager
- Ability to be on call 24/7 (including nights, weekends and holidays as needed)
