Under the direction of the EVS manager you will perform a variety of duties including: discharge room cleaning, occupied patient room cleaning, isolation room cleaning, general office cleaning and cleaning of all of the ancillary areas of the hospital, and outer buildings. You will work with a phenomenal team toIn this role you will:
Disinfect and clean the facility following the CDC, OSHA and Infection Control Guidelines. To insure the esthetic and aseptic standards are met throughout the facility.
Be responsible for economical use of supplies.
Follow BSI precautions when handling trash, soiled linen, and bio-hazardous waste.
Strip and wax hard flooring according to procedures, paying close attention to baseboards, corners, edges.
Machine scrub tile flooring.
Extract, and/or bonnet clean carpeting according to procedures.
Mix stripping, and carpet cleaning chemicals according to manufactures specifications.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred
Six or more months of hospital cleaning preferred
