Duties
-Go to local Central Florida College/Pro Games and cover the latest exciting news
Research and write engaging sports articles, news stories, and features
-Availability to go to premier sporting events in Central Florida for writing assignments
-Fact-check information to ensure accuracy and credibility
-Edit and proofread articles for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
-Conduct interviews with athletes, coaches, and other sports professionals
-Stay up-to-date with current sports trends, news, and events
-Write compelling headlines and captions for articles
-Adhere to deadlines and meet publishing schedules
-Conduct Twitter, youtube, or other assets to research top plays
Requirements
-Strong writing skills with a focus on clarity, conciseness, and creativity
-Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills
-Informative on latest in Sports (you will be placed in your best topic)
Note: Previous experience in sports writing or journalism is preferred but not required. A passion for sports and a willingness to learn are essential.
